What's a pronoun?
All About Pronouns!
You might be confused when someone asks you to use a specific set of pronouns if you don't know how they work, especially if you're not a native English speaker. First, you need to know what a noun is. A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea.
Person - Curious, Rosalyn
Place - school, restaurant, home, the Discord server
Thing - computer, Super Golf, toast, bicycle
Idea - happiness, a hole-in-one (HIO), an event, a conversation
A pronoun is used in place of a noun. For example, Curious uses he/him pronouns, which means he uses he and him in place of his name .
Curious played Super Golf. He got a hole in one.
Rosalyn is the cat queen. She has 12 of them!
Rosalyn wants to use she/her pronouns, meaning that she uses she/her in the same way Curious uses he/him.
Curioussimmer: Rosalyn has reached level 10! She has great things coming. Maybe...
Curioussimmer does not want to be called he or she. They want to be called they or them. You can also call them by their name (Curioussimmer). Curioussimmer will feel annoyed if they're called something they're not, and so would anyone else.
Curious: Hey Rosalyn! What were you and Curioussimmer talking about last night?
Rosalyn: Oh, they were feeling sick.
Curious: Oh no!
What if I don't understand how to use someone's pronouns?
Call them by their name.
Rosalyn: Hey Curious! Did you see the hole in one Curioussimmer just put in #images? Curioussimmer sure is good at Super Golf!
What about pronouns I've never seen before?

This is Aki. Xe likes to read people's minds. I've seen xem guess a lot of characters. Man, xir guesses are accurate!
